Terms of Service
Last updated: July 6, 2026
These terms govern your use of DemoTonight. Plain-English summaries are built into each section, but the whole text is the agreement. By creating an account you accept these terms.
1. The service
DemoTonight produces demo and tutorial videos and companion documentation of web products. You provide a URL and creative direction; our automated crew scouts the product, drafts a storyboard for your approval, films a real browser session, and delivers finished videos and docs. Some features (Autopilot) let you approve a plan once and have multiple videos filmed unattended.
2. Your side of the deal — authorization
- You may only submit websites and products that you own or are authorized to have filmed. Submitting someone else's product without permission is a violation of these terms and grounds for immediate termination.
- Credentials you store in the vault must be test or demo accounts you are entitled to use. Never store a production admin account or another person's login.
- You are responsible for the content of the sites you ask us to film. Don't use DemoTonight for anything illegal, deceptive, or infringing.
3. Our side of the deal — conduct during shoots
- Shoots execute the storyboard you approved and nothing else. Every click is from the approved shot list.
- Destructive actions — deleting data, submitting payments, sending messages or invites — are never proposed and never executed.
- Stored credentials are encrypted, used only during your approved shoots, and hard-deleted on request.
4. Credits, billing & refunds
- One finished video costs one credit. Docs, scouting, storyboards, and re-edits of delivered videos are free.
- Subscriptions renew monthly through Stripe and can be cancelled anytime — you keep access and remaining credits until the end of the paid period.
- Failed shoots never consume a credit — if we can't deliver a video, the credit returns to your balance automatically.
- Refunds: unused credits from a purchase can be refunded within 14 days of that purchase — email bknn0922@gmail.com. Delivered videos are not refundable (a credit buys a delivered video).
- Prices may change; existing subscriptions keep their price for at least 30 days after we notify you.
5. Ownership
- You own what we deliver. Videos, captions, thumbnails, and docs produced for your account are yours, including commercial use. We claim no rights in your product, brand, or content.
- We retain ownership of the DemoTonight software and systems. Free-tier videos carry a small watermark; paid tiers don't.
- You grant us the limited license needed to operate: to visit and film the site you submitted, process its content to produce your deliverables, and store the results in your account. That's it — we don't use your content to train models or to promote DemoTonight without your written permission.
6. Acceptable use
No filming third-party products without authorization; no illegal, infringing, or deceptive content; no attempting to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service; no reselling the service itself (reselling videos you made of clients' products, with their authorization, is fine — that's what agencies do).
7. Service quality & disclaimers
We aim high, but automated filming of arbitrary websites is not perfect: some sites can't be filmed well, and delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
8. Termination
You can close your account anytime. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms (especially Section 2). On termination we'll make your deliverables available for download for 30 days unless the law requires otherwise.
9. Changes & contact
We'll email account holders before material changes to these terms take effect. Questions: bknn0922@gmail.com.
